  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions. Research indicates that the outcomes for patients under Nurse Practitioners can be equal to, or even better than, those treated by Physicians. When you work with a Nurse practitioner, you benefit from a holistic approach that addresses both your overall well-being and specific mental health issues. You can feel confident knowing you're receiving care from a skilled and compassionate provider.

  • I have chosen not to work with insurance companies to prioritize providing the highest quality care. However, this doesn't mean your insurance won't cover some or all of your costs. I collaborate with a company called Reimbursify, which allows me to submit your super bill to your insurance for potential reimbursement, making it easier for you.

  • Prescribing long-term controlled substances carries several risks, including dependence, addiction, and potential overdose, as well as negative impacts on mental and physical health. Therefore, any prescriptions for controlled substances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Ultimately, the decision to prescribe these medications will keep in mind the importance of prioritizing your safety and well-being.

  • Currently, I am only seeing clients ages 18-64, but I find great fulfillment in working with children and adolescents. This may change in the future, so please check back for updates.

  • Currently, my appointments are conducted via telehealth using a secure video platform linked to the patient portal, which enhances accessibility to care. This format allows patients to receive psychiatric services conveniently from their homes. I recognize the importance of in-person interactions and may incorporate some in-person visits in the near future. Please stay tuned for updates regarding any changes to appointment formats.
